Hollywood Forever Cemetery tickets & upcoming events

Hollywood Forever Cemetery isn’t just your average resting place, it’s a lively hub of history, culture, and unforgettable moments. You might know it as the spot where a giant violet bouquet covers Prince’s memorial, a tribute that still gives you chills. It’s also the first cemetery in LA to jump on TikTok, which is kinda wild if you think about it, blending the old with the new in a totally unexpected way. During the holidays, their Starry Displays event lights up the night sky with twinkling lights, drawing crowds from all over LA who come to soak in the magic. The cemetery hosts annual tribute crossings, which are carefully checked for safety because, let’s be honest, those crowds can get pretty lively. If you’re planning to hang out there for a concert or event, they’ve got picnic seating so you can munch on your favorite snacks while enjoying the vibe. Plus, there’s designated seating for service animals, which is a nice touch. Want to get there from Downey? Just hop on the 5 North then switch to the 101 North, easy peasy. From Yorba Linda, it’s a quick ride west on the 91 and then south on the 5, all leading straight to this legendary spot. Whether you’re there to pay respects, catch a concert, or just explore, Hollywood Forever has that perfect mix of history and happening now, it’s a LA staple with a story to tell at every turn.
